Contributing to the Realization of a "Cohesive Society" with Our New Corporate Brand Essence, "Love Your Possibilities"

Unicharm conducts business in over 80 countries and regions around the world, based on our corporate philosophy of "NOLA & DOLA" (Necessity of Life with Activities & Dreams of Life with Activities). Through this philosophy, we aim to realize a "cohesive society" by "providing products that gently support people's minds and bodies so they can be freed from various burdens and fulfill their dreams." We have over 16,000 employees, of whom only about 20% are Japanese. To align the vectors of our diverse workforce and accelerate our progress toward becoming a "cohesive society", we have launched a new corporate brand essence in 2024: "Love Your Possibilities." "Love Your Possibilities" embodies Unicharm's desire to contribute to the realization of a "cohesive society" where we believe in the infinite possibilities that everyone possesses, and where we support each other by demonstrating these possibilities with compassion and altruism.

 

 

Our living environment changes with time, and our customers' needs are becoming increasingly sophisticated and diverse. Unicharm is quick to grasp these needs and has been developing new products ahead of the market by utilizing the nonwoven fabric and absorbent processing and molding technologies that we have cultivated over many years since our founding. As a result, we are proud to have provided new value to our customers through our products and contributed to changes in people's lifestyles. We will continue to provide products and services that maximize lifetime value, enriching the lives of each and every one of our customers.

 

 

We strive not only to assist customers through our business operations, but also to increase our corporate value by promoting proper corporate management that offers value to all our stakeholders including shareholders, business partners, associates and the general public.

Message from Takumi Terakawa, President Director of PT Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk

PT Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk was established in 1997 and entered its 28th year of establishment in 2025. Our main businesses include personal care brands such as MamyPoko, Charm, and Lifree, as well as Pet Care products launched in 2021. Through these products, we hope that all consumers in Indonesia, from babies to the elderly, as well as Pets  can be free from various burdens, by providing the best products and services that support physical and mental, and thanks to your support, we can become No. 1 in all our main categories. We have 2 factories in Karawang and 2 factories in Mojokerto, and we distribute our products throughout Indonesia and also export them abroad.

 

In 2021, our company has set the corporate slogan Ethical Living for SDGs, although not the best, we always strive to provide better solutions, and widely inform the public that companies and consumers practice "small kindness for people and the earth". We promote various initiatives and develop corporate activities in line with the 17 SDGs goals.

 

Through our brand, we will continue to create the first original products in Indonesia, and will also continue to contribute to realizing a prosperous life for all consumers in Indonesia.
